The Ohio Scottish Games & Celtic Festival bagpipe and drum events are sanctioned by EUSPBA, the Eastern United States Pipe Band Association. All sanctioned events will be conducted according to their rules. For more information go to their website.

Solo Rules

Solo competitors must have EUSPBA or other Home Society memberships. For EUSPBA membership see their site.

Band Rules
Challenging the next highest grade level is permitted as long as you meet the playing requirements. See EUSPBA for rules. OSGCF will attempt to honor a band's request to challenge up only if time allows for such to take place given the allotted times for the competition. Please inquire during the band meeting on the day of the games.

** If a band wins prizes in two grades, the band will only be awarded the greater of the prize money in their current grade or the challenge grade not both.
